Locking yourself
out of your car may not be a usual thing to happen but when they do,
they happen at the worst time possible. For example you are carrying
a large baggage or you have just finished shopping, more so if you
are heading somewhere far and locked yourself out of nowhere. The
most annoying part is the only choice you can think of is breaking
your window glass just to get in and the next thing is you have to
prepare your pocket for the repair cost.
I’m going to
share my own exasperating experience regarding an incident like this.
It was a bad day to wake up early on a Sunday finding out that I have
no food stocks left in my fridge, so instead of having breakfast I
headed out to the grocery. It was a bit nice that there was no
traffic on that day and the weather is pleasant so I kind of enjoyed
my 20 minute ride towards the grocery store.
As soon as I parked my
car, I dashed towards the store because I saw a banner saying that
it’s a sale day and bought a good amount of food lasting for about
a week. I was astonished seeing how large may bags were when I
finished up paying for my goods and how it felt like having an
anabolic exercise lifting them towards my car. I was about to open
the car doors when a sudden realization struck me. I left my keys
inside my car and I’m outside with all the things I had bought. I
don’t have cold cash with me so taking a cab is not an option which
left me with my last resort of breaking my windows.
I called the
grocery’s management to give me a hand about my car because it
would look like that I’m a car thief it I just break the windows
and drive out fast. I thought that was the best thing to do but it
turned out I was so wrong about it. The repair fee for my broken
window costed me a hefty sum. I should have just called a locksmith
to deal with the problem rather than breaking my car’s window
glass. Yes, I would have waited for a bit longer than I should but I
think waiting for a few minutes to an hour is more worth it rather
than the cost I have to pay for a broken window. On top of that I
wouldn't have to look like a hoodlum stealing a car and having a
getaway. Believe me it was not nice being told to stop on my tracks
by police to have a check on me and my car. By the time I got home, I
felt like I was on over time from work wasted and stressed out.
The lesson from
this is you should call a locksmith when things like this happen.
Thinking that you could save more by trying to break in your own car
is not a good idea because you are bound to damage something by
trying to do so. Car repair is more a lot more expensive than a Brisbane locksmith’s service fee that I assure you.
